Don’t you agree that more and more of us are getting overweight and losing our precious figure these days? Studies by National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey (NHANES) by using measured heights and weights in 2003-2004 showed that 66% of U.S. adults are either overweight or obese. Isn’t that an alarming number?

We eat more than we should yet we work out less than we should. This is worst when our workstation is a desk which we pretty much glue to it during the office hour. Then with the “help” of email, phone, fax machine, messengers and etc, we basically move less yet still get connected in the office. Isn’t it just great?

Those excess foods that we consumed during lunch or tea basically just convert into fat & store in our tummies just as how we stick to our chair. There are those who believe that only excess fat will store in our body. Still, besides converting into glucose for our daily energy, the excess carbohydrate (pasta, bread, rice, potatoes etc) that we eat can actually convert into fatty acid & then later store as body fat. As days passes by, those fats will just stick permanently in our body & put more weight on us & thus making us even more passive.

Have you really look into the mirror lately? Is your body getting more pear shape as you see or did anybody comment that your body shape changed lately? How about your waist line? Did you measure it lately? Is it larger than last year? If most the answers are yes, then why not start getting more active & gain back your loss precious shape? Also by just burning the extra fats, we can loose some pound, being healthier & more active.

In order to do that, we need to exercise!!! By exercising we actually boost our metabolism rate & that can help us to burn those extra fats. What if you can enjoy your exercise right in your own home, while you can still enjoy your favorite TV show or favorite music? This can actually save your gym fees & you can be relief of the hassle of traveling to the gym or even looking for a nice car park. Plus, you can exercise whenever you want.

Are you aware that by just exercising, you can actually save money? This is because we become healthier by exercising & we have less health complication. Remember the pear shape body? The risk of us developing type II diabetes, high blood pressure, cardiovascular disease, cancer & other health problem is higher if we are overweight & not to mention if we are obese. We need to take medication to control these problems & that means we need to pay for the medication. What if we can keep those extra spending and channel them to enjoy a happy vacation with our family? Isn’t that what it meant to enjoy life?
