does anyone know the value of a chartier childrens renior Linden Co Music Box ..or how old they are?
i have this wooden music box..its got a plush top ..the print on top is the chartier childrens renior..it plays laras song and says linden inside….i know its old but dont know how old or what its worth…i think its an antique…please help.. =)
The fact that it plays Lara’s Song seems to indicate the music box was made in or after 1965. 1965 was the year that the movie “Doctor Zhivago” came out and Lara’s Song became very popular.
Various Linden music boxes sell for between $10.99 to the $44.99 on eBay.
Based on the above, I would say that the music box is perhaps 45 years old and is worth somewhat less that $50.00
