Advice for a young musician?
I’m 15 turning 16 soon. I have played guitar for 5 years. I’m in a band that has played several shows. We have 3 electric covers 2 acoustic covers and 3 original songs. We have been working on a EP. We are having it professionally produced. It is releasing this summer and we are hitting the road this summer for 2 weeks. We already have some bookings done. I’m starting the get butterflies in my stomach. I’ve waited for this my whole life. Any advice?
Sounds like your doing well. But how are you gonna tour with 8 songs? And 5 of them being covers? If I only had 8 tunes I would be nervous too.

Others (Van Morrison, Neil Young) seem to have sprung from out of nowhere with the fully formed soul of a life well-lived. Ray LaMontagne belongs with the latter. On this, his debut, LaMontagne has crafte… |
